Magical Backyard Wedding in Brookhaven, MS Wedding Video (Anna + Daniel)

The beautiful wedding of Anna and Daniel was filmed in Brookhaven, Mississippi. The bride and groom got ready at two friends’ homes nearby where they were able to spend time with their families and wedding party most of the day. The bride’s cute dog also got to make an appearance for the family photos! The ceremony took place at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, which is where the bride went to church growing up. Anna told us she always admired the stain-glass window designs and thought being married there in the evening would be so elegant. The bride was escorted down the aisle by her father, Dr. Joe Moak. After exchanging vows at the church, the couple invited their guests to join them for a reception at the bride’s childhood home.

I can’t accurately describe just how beautiful and detailed this reception was. Upon arriving at Dr. & Mrs. Moaks’ home, guests were greeted in the front yard by ushers while twinkling, fairylight-covered trees lit a path to the side of the house into a magical backyard reception (which Dr. Moak referred to as Anna’s Playground). The entire backyard was reconstructed and designed to perfection - which we could only imagine how many months of preparation must have taken place to produce. The large tent, where the stage and lounge were set, had a clear-roofed design so the stars could be seen from the dance floor. Live music was performed by Big City Rhythm of Atlanta, Georgia. The group was recently featured on the Netflix series “Marriage or Mortgage.” The groom also serenaded the audience with a couple of songs accompanied by the band. As the wedding videographers for this event, we really enjoyed working with these kind families and wonderful team of vendors!
