Clear the List is a movement we created to drive awareness for organ donation, particularly kidney donation.

Our mission is to “clear” the organ donation waitlist through every angle possible: living donors, deceased donors, preventative health, medical technology advances, and research.

According to Donate Life, over 100,000 people are currently waiting to receive a lifesaving organ transplant. 85% of those people are needing a kidney donation.

Because kidneys (and sometimes livers) can be donated through living donors, this means that over 85% of the people on the organ waitlist could be cleared instantly if they were each given a kidney to save their lives by someone today.

We are striving to feature stories and resources that will fuel progress and save lives. If you create or share content related to organ donation, organ diseases/failures, kidney health, etc.,

please join us in this movement by using the hashtag #ClearTheList!

my story

I was diagnosed with kidney failure at 26 years old with the only noticeable symptom being fatigue. By the grace of God and my father-in-law’s selfless donation, I received a kidney transplant that saved my life. As a filmmaker and advocate, it’s important to me to help those coming behind me in any way I can. #ClearTheList was born out of this mission and love.
